I’ve been saying (and feeling) this same way for the last month. I’ve always been a warm weather kid, but this summer has been rough. I’m all for changing leaves and spooky things.

Thank you. That’s wild! It’s always the tiny birds that are the feistiest.

They are! I was only able to get a few photos, but I thought this one was pretty neat! He was hanging out with a swamp sparrow. I’m much better at painting birds than photographing them!

I saw and heard my first common yellowthroats in Canaan Valley while on a birding trip! They were so fun to watch.
