Is it just me or does Talion feel like a weird un-card? Like I personally LOVE Talion and am building my Emet Of the Third Seat somewhat around them, but it choosing a number feels very Unglued or something.

To think this is from a mainline standard set

I never actually drew a proliferation card so every turn I had to choose what specifically I wanted to buff up using Power Conduit or Nils or similar making sure to put the most useless counters onto the biggest threats unless it would help pressure an opponent better.

So Kros as a deck is built around a bunch of small weird integrations and synergies and so on and frankly I love that.

My most recent game with him was defined by Power Conduit, Nesting Ground and Calciform Pool where I'd put a counter on the pool and then shove that counter onto any new creature

That's not a bad idea, I might just packette this one up cuz I find it very helpful for commander decks.

Not yet but honestly that seems a bit easy personally.

Starting the game off with a few reward screens where I have to pick from limited options each time tends to produce interesting decks made on the fly as its about making the best of what is offered.

So I have been doing lots of Chaos Deck runs on Deck of Haunts and I still kinda wish there was an option to draft your starter deck. I just really enjoy drafting in card games lol

Imagine if you truly could never fall below say, $200 per month. Like no matter your work status, life status, or even criminal status you get $200 a month.

Even at that low number I could imagine a ton of changes socially.

I really like Andrew Yang's presentation of the idea publicly when he was "running for president", the $1200 a month or whatever it was is a good solid number.

But I am actually convinced that even an incredibly low UBI is still a serviceable answer with true universality.

So a political standpoint I have held for years is that is Capitalist Realism is to be proven true then we MUST attach human existence and Intrinsic Market Value...

That is to say, we have to have a UBI. Everyone has to inherently be represented in the market, even if the value is low.

Okay I really like this concept. Like obviously I am checking with Judges to see about edge cases and interactions but Edea seems like a very silly commander none-the-less.

Lol in recent conversation I used Peterson and Harris conversations as an example and my friend was like

"yikes"

And I won't lie, I felt that.

Both are pretty not great

But at one point those two used to practice Steelmanning really well on stage which is a good practice in conversation
