Reblogging this here too but Scarlet Hollow seriously has some of my favorite dialogue in any visual novel. I can't think of many games that I've played multiple times and don't blast through anything in order to get to the 'meat' of the game, because all of it is the meat!

Some more Silksong sketches, this time for Act 2. I still have not been able to beat Trobbio but I'm CLOSE. His battle is like the final boss of visual overstimulation making it hard for me to lock in. 😂

I beat act 1 of Silksong last night. Here are some misc sketches of my adventures thus far. Art has been hard this year but simple shapes doing stuff is nice, and I do like to draw folds on fabric.

The deed has been done (in wplace) I drew a tiny buff Knight to go with someone else's Hornet.

I really want to start drawing The Knight from Hollow Knight with the same energy as all of the caked up Hornet art I'm seeing. (no shade to the Hornet art, I just really am amused by the idea of caked up Knight now)

I don't know why that screenshot got compressed so much lmfao. Anyway! Not to get too deep about it but it makes my heart happy that art that I look back on as largely imperfect can still bring joy to someone.

Never be afraid to like and comment on old artwork online. Someone just went through and liked/reblogged/commented on all of my FF6 art, some of which is over a decade old, and it's made my day today. 💗

I got that "Focus Friend" app and it's embarrassing the amount of times I've picked up my phone during the 30 minute periods I set for the Bean to do his knitting. 🫠

Ohhh TimeSplitters 2 is a classic. One of those ones I haven't thought about in a long time but as soon as I saw it here was flooded with memories!

I did start to get self conscious that most of them are like 20+ year old games that I still hold fondly. I play new games sometimes!

(I wanted a Switch 2 before but I am using it as a carrot on a stick for a certain goal so it is a 'later' purchase)

I can't believe Mario Paint is what is moving the needle towards 'I need a Switch 2 now'. It was the OG creative outlet for me as a little kid, I had the SNES hooked up to the VCR and would use it to record like 10 seconds of animation at a time. 😂

You know if I watch a movie more than once it's GOTTA be good!

I've been rewatching Avatar The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra recently and I didn't fully realize how long ago it came out until I remembered that my cat named Korra is now considered a senior kitty.

Another #artfight2025 ! For Squiddicus on artfight. I must confess that I watched Kpop Demon Hunters recently so my brain has fully been in a mood to draw everyone in cool outfits with big shoulder pads.

Nahhh Korryn is used to party members that are too much and he secretly enjoys it. 😀
