Let me put it this way: I would love to create music, but I know I would be terrible at it, as I don't have the proper practice or skillset, at least starting out. Do I suddenly think I should just have genAI do it for me? No. A big part of the joy of the creative process is the process itself. If you take that away to just type in a prompt, and have something farted out for you, then where is the pleasure in that? Art is far, far more than the final result. "Are those trained creatives going to commit to using zero AI and zero AI tools or any product using AI...." Speaking as one myself: I mean, yeah...? It's incredibly easy to do art and not have to use genAI. In fact, it would only get in my way, and slow down my process.
