More fun with vibe coding. Took the precipitation scraper from my email weatherbot project and am using it to trigger skips for my sprinkler system instead of the built-in setting, which was turning my grass brown while also trying to upsell me.

Put together a fun little project for the youth soccer league I help with. Automatically generated weather-info emails for game days, with logic for time of day and NEXRAD storm predictions.

TIL (the hard way) that Gemini works 1000x better with Google AppsScript than Claude, if only because it avoids syntax errors out the wazoo.

Claude has been great with raw Python though.
