24.02.2026 19:27 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey, MSP: where am I taking my family for a birthday dinner in St Paul tonight? Ordway at 7:30, so earlyish and not too far from downtown. Would love your suggestions.
24.02.2026 19:13 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0I kinda gave up trying to explain to people who donβt live here
24.02.2026 04:40 β π 10 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0It does that really well! It was not the right thing for my family, but BOY can I see the utility for many families and kids!
Thereβs not much published in that lane, and I think COLOR TASTE TEXTURE is a pretty important book. :)
I had to document some things today and it was Not Great.
But all my kids were here for dinner, and there was cake, and my husband arranged a cameo video of Andy Merrill (Brak) for me, and I took tomorrow off and I think Iβm going to the Conservatory & getting Thai food for lunch.
Thatβs fair, thank you for saying so.
This is not a climate where joking about these things is going to land well.
Looks like Stewart may want to be todayβs main character.
(I am already enraged with a different mediocre white man today, heβs lucky I didnβt swear at him)
School librarians are licensed teachers, often with advanced degrees, who teach students how to access, process, and share information from many and varied sources. Bookshelves canβt do that, Stewart.
The library without a librarian is neither curated nor fully resourced. It is just a room.

I am very bad at relaxing, but tonight I got all cozy on the couch and knitted while watching the womenβs biathlon relay until my eyes got crispy AND THEN I FELL ASLEEP ON MY COUCH. France wins, Christie wins, everyone wins. π€

(Spring 1995 I awoke at 7AM to the sound of MANY pipers warming up outside Dayton Hall and on Shaw Field, because it was the day of the Scottish Country Fair. 4pm I escaped to boyfriendβs momβs house in the north metro with the skirling still in my ears. π« )
Fighting Apostles is also kind of funny. Also, how VERY MINNESOTAN that there is a traveling hockey trophy for law students.

A little treehouse from a laser-cut kit, lit with battery-operated LED lights
