Legit such a fantastic show. I also super recommend his interview with Ari Melber, who can perfectly work with his bouncy mind and find interesting topics no matter where he goes.

Breaking out a thesaurus helps so much. Also, yeah reading from different authors is going to help. If you dont want to pick up full books grab a random one and read a page. Then do it again with another book. Analyze how they use structure and how it fits the tone and voice.

Try different sentence structures and literary devices! Short snappy sentences vs long, detailed long ones. Having a couple words use alliteration. Sometimes you dont even have to describe every action, you can leave tiny things up to the reader unless theyre important details.
