Fun first day at Road Atlanta. Hot as heck, but I've experienced worse this year at Road America for IndyCar and NASCAR Chicago for Xfinity. I am glad that the temps are dropping for the rest of the weekend though

People want high speed rail connecting the country. I say there should be high speed rail that connects all of the race tracks and the cities they're closest to (I'm not being serious with this demand, but it would be pretty darn good, actually)

That is the one thing I'm always gonna have to worry about as I start to go to more tracks. I really don't like driving, so I always prefer public transportation or ride share. But I know that's probably hard to come by with certain tracks. Guess I might have to consider car rentals at some point

I am thankful that I can get a Lyft to/from Road Atlanta. I wasn't expecting that to be an option, tbh. Though it probably is for the best that my brother is coming down from NC tonight and will be able to drive to/from the track for the rest of the weekend

It doesn't get more classic that this. A great guitar riff, awesome baseline, good drum beat, and great vocals with some really interesting and thoughtful lyrics. There's just one song better
