It definitely was affecting Peralta, who looked like he lost his breathing, he almost seemed to be gulping for air. He also lost track of the count at least once too, having to ask the ump.

Not playing with that rule in the postseason is like MLB acknowledging it’s not real baseball and shouldn’t be used in important games.

I mean, this centerfield view at dodger stadium is egregiously bad. Not only is 90% of the field not in view, but the ball crossing the plate and hitters’ swings are often impossible to see because they’re blocked by the pitchers’ follow through.

The centerfield camera angle is terrible. It reduces the game to only 3 players and one tiny part of the field. I wish that a camera angle from behind home plate was used more often (all the time!). This is the best seat in the stadium, please show it on the broadcast.

On the CHI311 app, you can put in a public safety noise complaint against these assholez.

Click on β€œcreate a new service request” then β€œpublic safety” then either β€œnoise complaint” or β€œaircraft noise complaint”

Well, I’d never heard of Jason Blum, so I looked him up, and learned that of the 100+ films and shows he’s been involved with, I’ve only heard of about 10, and seen exactly 2.

And now I know why.

Why is it less loud and energetic now, in your opinion? Because of the lights? The scoreboards? New louder sound system? More fans closer to the field? More people on rooftops? Taller buildings in the neighborhood?

Major League Baseball relies on immigrants from Caribbean, Central, and S. America for a very large percentage of their economic success. The postseason would be a great opportunity for MLB and MSM to honor the benefits of immigrants to US culture and economy.

Calls by the umpire aren’t dependent on tendencies of the player involved. C’mon.

For a checked swing, the base umpire should have clear visible evidence to overturn his colleague’s call at homeplate. The base umpire either overturns his colleague, or he doesn’t. He does this based on what he sees

It is a whole lot of strikeouts.

As a baseball fan, it’s very dull to watch players strike out 1 or 2 times an inning.

08.10.2025 18:43 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The Cubs have responded with 58 strikeouts in only 5 games (43 innings up to bat)

45% of their outs are via strikeout.
