Last year, Columbus was the first host and tickets were $70. This year, with Columbus hosting the first game and being in the driver's seat again on pricing, it was set at $89 per ticket. In response to this, we asked for help and our front office agreed to subsidize $25 per ticket to keep the price down for our supporters so that we can pack the section and people are less likely to be priced out of a game that means so much to all of us. Not only does that bring the price significantly down from the $89 set by Columbus, it brings it down below the $70 these costed last year. They heard us and stepped up in a big way to support us. This is the first time they've done this, and it's a huge deal. We're pretty lucky to have the partners we have at the club.
Kudos to the FC Cincinnati front office for stepping up to help make Hell is Real tickets more affordable for their traveling supporters.
Really disappointing decision by the Columbus Crew to raise the price of this game to nearly $90 for away fans.
