Here they are at the same scale. Sorry the sat photo is out of date and still has the East Wing

I will hook Sam or anyone else on the ground up with trusted, experienced media trainers for free to make it much less scary
Agree, but also, there is no playbook here. There are gonna be disagreements about strategy. I come down squarely on Will’s side that the media is a powerful tool and could/should be used strategically. But also, I could be totally wrong

a good journalist can do both. i think it is imperative to show what these operations are doing, so no alternative narratives can be attached to them.
Reminds me strongly of trying to work with Occupy back in the day. Decision making was incredibly decentralized and the only people who wanted to be IDed as “spokesperson” were interlopers

Good! Talking to media is intimidating and a skill. People should know that they don’t have to figure it out alone
29.01.2026 02:32 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0For the amazing on-the-ground heroes in MN: it would be sooo valuable for you talk to media. We need to show that it’s just regular folks who are standing up for their neighbors.
If you would like media training to help you feel comfortable doing that, please hmu
Incredibly bravery of Stella in those horrifying moments, and incredible bravery of her to come forward publicly.
We need more of the brave, everyday Minnesotans to speak to media and humanize the extraordinary nonviolent resistance they are performing.

Hard to tell if it’s in his waistband or a holster, but the murdered man’s gun was pulled from his back side. He didn’t brandish it. He didn’t even take it out. They disarmed him then executed him.
