Ein Gedanke, der mir immer mal wieder kommt, den ich aber wohl kaum je tiefgehender verfolgen werde:
Find' es spannend, was für eine große Rolle Musik in vielen der Urban / Contemporary Fantasy - Erzählungen der 80er und frühen 90er Jahre spielt.
Danke für den Tipp. Bin aktuell auch nicht sooo weit weg und gucke mal ob ich dort die Tage noch vorbeikomme.

Ein weiteres Paradebeispiel: „Das Ding aus einer anderen Welt“ (Carpenter, 1982) ist sowohl Neuauflage von Hawks’ 1951er Film als auch Neuinterpretation des Buchs von 1938. Beide Fassungen liebe ich, weil sie mit eigenem Flair perfekt ihren Zeitgeist einfangen.

Vernünftige Remakes sind okay – was mich stört, ist der immer kürzer werdende Abstand zum Original. Kaum gewürdigt, schon kommt die Neuauflage. 1/X

Von den älteren kenne ich nur den ersten – damals im Kino, zusammen mit meiner D&D 3e-Gruppe. Den zweiten habe ich irgendwann mal im Fernsehen gesehen.
