Yea, she is no doubt and will never be a Dem. But she has a following. If she can help some of that following realize Trump is a fake prophet and break some of the cult’s fever, that’s a good thing. And maybe some of them are redeemable. We can’t be an exclusive club of the pure and win elections.

Raskin is too smart to fall anything. He simply wishes to win elections and to obtain power again for the Dems. A noble reason. Better to humor former foes and regain power while removing fascists from power than to be holier than thou about strange political bedfellows while clutching pearls.

Exactly. Her motives are almost immaterial at this point. She’s helping on the side of good, at the moment. That could change tomorrow. No one is forgetting her past misdeeds. She’s not going to trick us. But she has a following among people who rarely hear the truth. Her current actions are good.

In a similar vein, I hate to agree with Trump but his explanation that she has turned on him because she was discouraged from running for Senate or Gov is the best explanation I’ve heard of why she flipped on him. She is angry that after she was loyal to him, he didn’t support her.

If only the media obsessed 1% as much about Trump’s Secretary of Defense sending actual operational war plans over a messaging app to journalists. Makes me think that all the hang wringing we endured from them about national security wasn’t sincere.

Swing voters are easily bamboozled though. When one option is fascism and there’s tons of evidence to this based on both their own words and deeds, and a well meaning “swing voter” chooses this option bc of the price of eggs or Biden’s old man stuttering, they have most definitely been bamboozled.
