No, there are DOZENS of us. I prefer Google Earth, though, because Maps is the Mercator projection, which I hate.

Nice photos! It is not an easy piece of art to photograph.

I got it in 4. I could’ve gotten it in 2, but thought, “That’s not *really* a word.”

My favorite Latin equivalent phrase is “cum mula peperit” - “when a mule foals” - while most mules are sterile, there’s ca. a 1/10,000 chance a female mule will give birth.

#StandingStoneSunday Grange Stone Circle, Lough Gur, Co. Limerick. Ireland’s largest stone circle at 46 m, it has 113 mostly limestone standing stones. The biggest, L in my 2022 photo, is 40 tons. Late Neolithic/Chalcolithic in age (ca. 3000-2500 BCE), but many of the stones were added in the 1870s.

The tail is a nice touch.

We still get it in paper format (🦕)- my spouse reads it religiously; I don’t. It’s very helpful with big purchases: e.g., appliances, cars, but we also archive them, as they have later proven useful for smaller items, as well.
