Really sorry to hear that. I'll share the feedback with our team so we can improve signage & website info.

I work with Edmonton's transit service & we have an Arc (fare payment) vending machine at the airport that takes both credit & debit (you don't need to use cash). We are working on rolling out tap to pay later this year, too, to tap directly onto the validators.

Nothing is quite as humbling as having a knee sprain & hobbling around an airport. We had to to deplane, move to a different terminal at Pearson then reboard a different plane several hours later due to a mechanical issue. 🤦

Quantity & quality of service drive ridership. Need to keep up with service investments (faster service, more frequent service, reliable fleet, clean vehicles & waiting areas, safe env't) to drive mode shift. We really need the basics done right.

Doing east coast things is vacation time well spent.

Insomnia while on vacation is really irritating but at least I have coffee & great views. ☕

La Gaspésie!

There is no easier way to self identify as an introvert than being present during a dinner with my husband's family. Six convos at once & no one notices when I retreat with a book. 😂

Spent Canada day on a leisurely bike ride (trails were busy!), followed by a short nap, then played basketball with kiddo. A near perfect way to end my little break. 🙌

For day 23/30 for #yegbikemonth, I cycled to/from work & thankfully left after the thunder/rain/hail this a.m. #yegbike Also, I highly recommend outdoor time, even just for a few minutes, instead of doomscrolling about truly terrible news in the world right now.

Spent a beautiful morning with Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society for a celebration of National Indigenous Peoples day, including drumming, dancing, storytelling and artisans. It was so lovely. 🧡

Day 17/30 of #yegbikemonth included a ride downtown from Stadium station, followed by a ride from downtown to ACT rec centre for a meeting, then a phone meeting in Rundle park before cycling back to the station. The sun was shining & gotta say, it was pretty sweet. #yegbike

We use APCs on Valley Line so those figures are very accurate. High floor numbers are based on linked trips data & station counts. Fingers crossed, we get APCs for high floor LRVs in budget process.
