And yet the country is once again being pulled apart by intimidating demonstrations, stirred up by disingenuous and dangerous politicians and commentators.
They are getting exactly what they want.

A man in a suit speaks at a podium in the House of Commons. Above him, text reads: βClaim water pollution is worse in Scotland than England is Mostly False.β A scale beneath the text ranges from βTrueβ to βFFS!β, with a marker positioned under βMostly Falseβ showing The Ferretβs logo.
UK environment secretary Steve Reed claimed pollution levels are worse in Scotland than in England. But our fact check found the evidence doesnβt back that up, and in key measures, Scotland fares better

These are differences but there are others.
1. European countries attacked Libya.
2. The UK invaded Iraq with the USA
3. Like the Soviet Union the west invaded Afghanistan
My point was not to say both sides are the same but to note that the public is being prepared for conflict by both sides
This mirrors claims in Europe that Russia will attack. Both sides are preparing the public for direct confrontation βΉοΈ

There is a lot of deflection taking place by politicians this morning, suggesting that the court kept the superinjunction in place and that had to be overcome.
That's not true or not complete- the government kept it in place by repeatedly applying for its renewal.
Two governments took The News Agents to secret court for two years via a constitutionally unprecedented superinjunction to stop you from hearing this story.
