I may not be having a midlife crisis. I’ve been in a bad mood all week for unclear reasons but today it became apparent that I’ve just been ill (COVID? Man-cold?).

I do make cynical jokes sometimes but I genuinely think it’s extremely important to not lose sight of the responsibility we have for our own minds.

It’s the internet. They’ve grown up in the age of the internet being built to manipulate and exploit.

The mere existence of podcasts eats away at my soul.

I’m genuinely disturbed by young people though. I think they’re going to be rather antisocial and narcissistic, like more than other generations.

lol my wife had coffee with a former coworker today who wants us to start playing pickleball with her.

So, I don’t like young people, I don’t like what I observe in the culture and am mourning the culture I grew up
in, and I am dealing with the fact that some paths are no longer available to me at this point in my life. Is that mid-life crisis?

Also I’m sad about the dog but that’s normal.
