Small *American* company, just to be clear.

Today I learned just how badly the small company I work for is about to be hit by the "reciprocal" tariffs.

I have some suspicion that this circulating non sequitur is part of an influence campaign to divide the opposition to the rise of fascism in the US. Please don't fall for it.

I and so many others who were in attendance know and can tell you that practically everyone there voted for Harris and the signs and stated grievances were nearly all about Trump/Musk/Vance racism, misogyny, transphobia, and disregard for the constitution.

A majority of white voters voted for Trump. The Hands Off protests were largely white. True statements, but I'm seeing the bizarre non sequitur floating around that together they mean the protests consisted primarily of white Trump voters with buyer's remorse because of Trump's economic impact.

The article doesn't claim that Musk did this. It is just highlighting how inconsistent incidents like this are with Musk's and Trump's claims about Social Security.

Both effects are likely present to some degree. I would defer to actual data to figure out which effect dominates.

Yeah. Those that do still want one (we're not going to sway them at this point) will be less likely to buy it new.
