A Dissonant Rage: What Are We To Do? How do we address the state of the world? Why am I writing this as if I'd have any clue? A learned hopelessness, what to learn from a child's uncompromising will, and a slump of a conclusion to boot.

I've been struggling a lot with what to do as a writer/artist in this time of need. Activism feels like it's always been a means of defiance, a way to break out of the cycle of oppression and pain.

But what do we do right now? Do we produce for an age of consumption/attention simply to be there?
