I honestly found IQ tests *less* stressful than the cognitive test. I was the overperforms-in-school kind of ADHD, apparently, 99.9th percentiles on any "high-pressure" test, loses ten percent on every class grade for the homework but still gets A's through tests.

I think I also got docked because when they asked me to draw a clock, I drew hands in a circle with the numbers OUTSIDE instead of inside, and to this day I'm not sure why except (impulsively?) I started with a small circle, then it was easier to make legible numbers outside it.

I had to take one in 2019 after a mini-stroke, which is how I recognized his FIRST reference to "Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV." when he got one in 2020.
And with my undiagnosed ADHD, I did in fact get worked up about and miss points on the memory/recall sections because... poor working memory.

They have to give you that punch in the emotional breadbasket super early on to weed out people who aren't ready for The Ride.

There are productive uses for the tools currently being marketed to DEATH under the AI umbrella, and that's part of the problem.
LLMs and similar tools CAN be used by trained experts for specific tasks. But they are not "intelligent," nor an infinite profit glitch, and cannot meet the hype cycle.

The LOUD crowd support should remind you that this "powerful tool" is basically unwanted by anyone who would actually use it as a tool rather than as a way to cheat/shortcut learning craft.

This is a product the target audiences DO NOT WANT being forced down your throat because of the sunk cost.

My Wokest Take is that the need to constantly have your exact genealogical relationship reified in your everyday language is some patriarchal colonial bullshit, the kind of thing you only litigate when culturally obsessed with inheritance and especially the autonomous two-generation Nuclear Family™.

Like I am "mom once complained dinner was too spicy because there was black pepper in it" white, and even I grew up in the culture of aunt/uncle as a title of intimacy and respect and not a specific descriptor of an exact genealogical relationship.

I am a mid-40s white boy (3rd gen Irish/German). I had an aunt and uncle who were just old, close friends of my parents. You damn well bet any adult relative was Aunt/Uncle. My mother joked about not knowing her family tree because of this, and her 3rd-cousin-2-removed "Aunt Molly" was MY Aunt Molly

I had a TIA (ministroke) 6 years ago, and am thus familiar with the cognitive tests Trump is referring to.

They are "cognitive assessment tests" in the sense of looking for loss of brain function. They are *designed* to be passed by anyone who is not currently suffering debilitating brain damage.
