I also really enjoyed some of the fake TV specials commercials. So many of them are just so great.

What's odd is the first time I saw it, I found the commercials throughout incredibly jarring, but having seen it many times at this point, they're sort of my favorite part of the movie now. As mentioned, just pure nostalgia of watching late night local TV in the 80's/early 90's as a kid.

Yeah, Indian Summer might actually be my favorite of this bunch. Not a whole lot happens, but the cast are all just amazing together. This would be a good time of the year for a rewatch.

Lounging around while the Gremlin takes her nap, and then we're leaving soon to that wife's friend's dinner thing. Not sure what to expect, but I just hope it's super casual, and preferably outside, like when we visited this summer. Oh and beer would be nice. 🍻

My #LastFourWatched. So far a slow week, but I'm hoping to watch more horror this weekend. 🍿

The old oil pressure regulating valve I swapped out on my wife's car

Finally got that damn part changed out on the wife's car. We'll see if it clears out that check engine light (fingers crossed).

No joke, my favorite David Lynch film.

Man, so the blower motor in my wife's Jetta also stopped working recently. You'd figure not a big deal this time of year, but she'll need it for defrosting the cold that's on the way. Sheesh. I still wish she would have just gotten a damn Honda or something, those cars are easy to fix.

I feel bad though honestly for all the Albert's out there. The abbreviated "AL" sure looks a lot like the abbreviated "AI", and lots of Alberts, Albertas, Allens, and Alberto's are truly suffering. Hopefully once that bubble bursts (it will, and probs soon), they can live in peace again.

I've got Ms Rachel playing in the living room, and my wife's Chromebook in the kitchen is still playing Pee-Wee's Playhouse on Tubi while I do dishes, and both shows started singing "Old MacDonald had a farm" at the same time, so I may have ripped the time and space continuum, sorry guys.

My wife took a shower last night in the downstairs bathroom, so when I went to draw a bath just now for the Gremlin, my head and back got absolutely soaked because she left the tub on the shower setting, lol. 😆

I always found it interesting yet odd that of all of the amazing films De Niro has been in over the course of his illustrious career, this one (which he's not even the lead) was his highest grossing film ever (at least at that point, and it might still be).

I love Hodder as well, but for my money my favorite Jason's have always been either CJ Graham or Ted White.

Not much happening here today, but trying to enjoy it TBH. Tomorrow morning I have to take the wife's car back to my stepdad's to use his lift and change yet another "check engine" part, and then later we're going to dinner at her work friend's house. She's cool, but her husband is fucking crazy.

When people bring up any of the LOTR flicks, I always say Dead Alive/Braindead and The Frighteners are my true favorite PJ flicks
