I bet you are truly excellent at stockings

I am very anti wrapped things in my stocking. It is for fun little things and treats only!

My kids LOVR a scratcher ticket in their stockings, they’d be thrilled to have a stocking full of just that and candy, I suspect

A good, kind dentist is such a game changer. I have a great one and I fear he will retire soon and I am already sad about it

I love a Christmas stocking (both having one and filling one) and I feel like this is the ideal mixture:
- candy (duh)
- some sort of small toiletry for a purse (hand sanitizer, dental floss picks or good lip balm)
- something that exists for the sole purpose of being cute
- scratcher tickets

It’s just the four of us for Thanksgiving this year but feeling good about the menu and the amount of cooking I have to do (fairly minimal)

Self-care sometimes means ordering more notebooks that I might not technically need and enjoying how pretty the boxes are when it arrives 😍

I’m in Minnesota now but grew up in the Southwest, where my family still lives. I’m 99% sure I’m the only person in my family who has ever seen them (I was very excited!)

It’s distressing to me that I want to believe that this *has* to be satire and yet…

I’m on a flight that got moved on to a bigger plane than originally scheduled and the flight is only 50% full and everyone is so happy. It’s a fairly long flight too and my last flight after many weeks of work travel, so this is a nice way to wrap up work travel for the year

She is doing such good and interesting things with her money and I respect it so much

I know there is so much discussion of how to help food banks/pantries right now (and that is good, we need to take care of people) but as someone who used to supervise a food pantry, let me just make another small plea: setting up a recurring monthly cash donation is SO HELPFUL to those places

I’ve never smoked weed (or had an edible or anything else) but I’m in favor of pot legalization.

That being said, going places where it smells constantly like weed tests my conviction a bit.
