Punzie is the first of the crew to properly nap trap me.
She's stirred a few times and yelled at me, but just gets comfy again and falls straight back to sleep.
It's been at least 30 minutes. Thank goodness I went to the restroom right beforehand, but I wish I had grabbed my snack from the kitchen.

They don't know what taxes, bills, or work is.

It was nice to get outside after being stuck inside sick all week!
Not well enough for the long walk that I want to do, so super grateful for the garden while I build back up for a proper adventure.

It's been so dry this summer that I stopped keeping an eye out for fugi and was so startled and thrilled to see these guys.
I'm excited to find more cuties after all the rain we had this week!

The mudlarking adventure started as a quest to get a good angle of the ship and the bridge.
Not thrilled with my shots, so trying again tomorrow morning with proper shoes and also a bag so I can collect more treasures and pick up some trash.

Did some improptu Mississippi River mudlarking this morning!
The river is low enough that this gravel bar is accessible and I couldn't resist having a look.
The river blessed me with a marble and an intact bottle, and I picked up the soccer ball and left it on a bench for someone else to have.

My Anne-boo was the sweetest girl. I always used tortitude to describe her sassiness, which was the same level as our other girl cats, it just seemed sassier because of her funny little face.

I understand that voting with your dollars is a very privileged and nuanced activity.
I'm speaking about individuals that make enough money, have the ability, and live in a metro-enough area that switching is just a matter of inconvenience.

I'm disappointed in the able-bodied around me that are against things happening in the world, but can't even be bothered to cancel their Amazon and stop shopping at Target.

But then again, I shouldn't be surprised that white women that aren't part of another marginalized group aren't contributing.

B&W is not my preferred style to shoot in, but I'm always suprised by how well some of my shots turn out when I put the filter on them.
