The Republican National Committee is spending millions of dollars to harass and intimidate Missourians.

Don’t be scared.

You aren’t doing anything wrong by signing petitions. In fact, you are saving our state. οΏΌ

While I am disappointed in the lack of Covid mitigation - I am pleased to see the work being done in other countries which is sometimes hard to see clearly from a US perspective.
Biomarkers and drug cocktails still seem like the future to me...

@thesicktimes.org is keeping us all informed continuously. This publication is so important - please follow and support if you can.
It is so interesting to see the research advancing in other countries while stagnating in the US. But I am hopeful that is moving forward. #longcovid #covid19

β€žQuiet, Piggy!β€œ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
Itβ€˜s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Experts say testing exercise is β€œmoney down the drain” and won’t advance understanding of Long COVID.

Democrats are leaning into the meme war because they think if they win in culture, they don’t have to win in policyβ€”and no one will notice.

I’m gonna use that. I’m writing it down so I don’t forget.

it’s not that i don’t get the significance of the changes made to cdc this week, not that im not lamenting, but just…i n so many i love watched that agency turn its back on us years ago. this feels like the final nail in a coffin that’s been ready to close n yall just figured out we’re at a funeral.

To those of us that have been following Covid and Long Covid, it is not a surprise to see rampant misinfo on the CDC pages.

With the autism/vaccine page, know this is not their first instance of this, it’s just the first time you have taken notice or care of it.

It’s not too late to mask up 😷

The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.

This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.

Thank You Alice Wong Alice Wong has passed away and the disability community has lost a leader. I lost a mentor and a friend. The Disabled Ginger wouldn't exist without Alice and everything she taught me.

Alice Wong helped me accept my disabilities.

She taught me there’s no social justice without disability justice.

She encouraged me to start The Disabled Ginger and was a friend & mentor.

She won’t be forgotten.

Don’t let the bastards grind you down:

Almost 500k studies showing COVID causes lasting damage… if that doesn’t convince anyone, nothing will.

The downplay of the severity and seriousness of LC by scientific research will never cease to amaze me. It’s strange, it’s all in the head, why not exercise it away.
When what’s just so sad is it is coming for everyone. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. Won’t be so strange then.

Everyone thinks they will be the exception.

Serious illness or disability won’t happen to them and IF it does, they will be able to afford it.

The reality is it only takes one catastrophic event to change your life, especially in a country that doesn’t guarantee healthcare for all.

My MCAS hit before Covid, but it’s been devastating to my ability to eat.

I’m down to 10 safe foods. I’m malnourished and still losing weight.

The digestive and allergic issues that can accompany Long Covid are very destructive to quality of life.

Starving people is a weapon of control. So, too, is controlling and attacking the media, attacking science and higher ed, and using the military against citizens and innocent people. All weapons of control.

I don’t care who you are, the one thing that links all of the -isms and bigotries together and sets them on fire is eugenics and ableism.

They’ve been playing you all the entire time. There is no progress in this country for ANYTHING without equity for disabled people.

Treatments that are never going to be one size fits all for an illness with over 200 symptoms. It’s just so frustrating to see the siloed approach when the community is so connected and we see how that realistically isn’t going to work. But our opinions fall on unwilling ears.

#longcovid #covid19 I truly believe the β€œsolution” will eventually be some form of drug cocktail similar to what people with HIV or Hepatitis take. But all the research now is either focused on non-medicinal exercise graded therapy, which for many is detrimental not helpful, or single magic pill 🧡
