While I am disappointed in the lack of Covid mitigation - I am pleased to see the work being done in other countries which is sometimes hard to see clearly from a US perspective.
Biomarkers and drug cocktails still seem like the future to me...
@thesicktimes.org is keeping us all informed continuously. This publication is so important - please follow and support if you can.
It is so interesting to see the research advancing in other countries while stagnating in the US. But I am hopeful that is moving forward. #longcovid #covid19

βQuiet, Piggy!β Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
Itβs quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Democrats are leaning into the meme war because they think if they win in culture, they donβt have to win in policyβand no one will notice.
Iβm gonna use that. Iβm writing it down so I donβt forget.

With the autism/vaccine page, know this is not their first instance of this, itβs just the first time you have taken notice or care of it.
Itβs not too late to mask up π·
The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.
This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.

Alice Wong helped me accept my disabilities.
She taught me thereβs no social justice without disability justice.
She encouraged me to start The Disabled Ginger and was a friend & mentor.
She wonβt be forgotten.

A tweet from Roy Doorenspleet (@DoorenspleetR) reads: βSomeone told me if 400,000 papers documenting the harms of COVID wonβt convince anyone, then 500,000 wonβt either. The downplay of the severity and seriousness of LC by scientific research will never cease to amaze me. Itβs strange, itβs all in the head, why not exercise it away.
When whatβs just so sad is it is coming for everyone. Itβs not a matter of if, itβs a matter of when. Wonβt be so strange then.

Serious illness or disability wonβt happen to them and IF it does, they will be able to afford it.
The reality is it only takes one catastrophic event to change your life, especially in a country that doesnβt guarantee healthcare for all.
My MCAS hit before Covid, but itβs been devastating to my ability to eat.
Iβm down to 10 safe foods. Iβm malnourished and still losing weight.
The digestive and allergic issues that can accompany Long Covid are very destructive to quality of life.
