Ok. There's a part of the Elrond + Durin plotline that really got to me as well. But i'll stop in case of spoilers :)

Except for hot people, the hobbits and their plotline is by far the best thing about the show. I hadn't really thought about it in this Light, but yeah, it fits.

I don't think this is a hot take, but The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 1 is really baffling. It looks good and the acting is stellar, but it misses everything great about both the short stories *and* the original show... also it had no dramatic structure what so ever? It's almost impressive.

I'm having all the same feelings.

I think i'll convert my Prussian Stosstruppen up as more Gardeskorp than stormtroopers and then paint them in the colors of the later prussian gardes du corp. White, red and worn gold.

I'm not saying waiting longer doesn't suck, and waiting long for a product that shows up with faults is really annoying. But it's kickstarter and baby mistakes for a new company that got massivly more business than expected. It's not evil capitalism or a scam or whatever people are claiming.

A couple of days ago a semi big YouTuber made a grievance porn video out of it.

And now the usual culture war twats are coming out of the woodwork.

Then there's some deliveries that are bad, possibly due to the scale of things being way out of expectation and some baby mistakes like air traps in the first files sent out, but nothing the companies haven't fixed.

Because of the scale of the demand, TC is dropping resin and going plastic

Broadly, the story goes that TC got massively more popular than expected (3 million dollar kickstarter on a 66.666 dollar goal), with a huge amount of those pledges going for print on demand resin minis instead of STL files. So deliveries are behind but nothing out of the ordinary for a Kickstarter

Reading a few comments after the TC ragebait videos. Starting to think the reason non-specialized and/or big miniature companies stay out of the STL game is simply just that you get far, far too much grief from people plugging in their printer for the first time.
