The Sharp pocket phone book and dialer. It resembles a scientific calculator, but the keypad is alphabetical, with the numbers requiring a shift key.

In the database still from when I bought it is this number to a Papa John's restaurant. I don't know if it's still valid.

To use the device to dial a number, you hold this transducer up to the mouth piece of your plain old landline telephone and press the Dial button. The device then emits the same tones as a touch tone phone, in the sequence that makes up that number.

Inside the cover flap is a set of instructions. EL-6250H Dialing Tip For successful dialing: Hold the DIAL MASTER vertically when dialing. If you fail to make a successful connection: Shake the handset back and forth several times and redial.

This is one of the more unusual things I've found in the Goodwill bins - Sharp pocket phone book. Not only does it store your numbers, it can also dial them with the transducer on the back!
