More of a commentary on the restaurant system in general than people who don’t tip on carry out orders. Like with food delivery apps (doordash etc) someone still has to put together the order but there’s literally no way to get a tip & service industry minimum wage is $2.13/hr

At every restaurant I worked at we had one server (per shift) who’s job was just taking care of the carry out/pickup orders (taking the phone orders, putting the orders together, etc) & you always just kind of knew you weren’t going to make any money with those shifts
