This motmot was seen in Tobago. It would frequently visit the garden where we were staying, hoping for food (lizards). One day a golden tegu passed through - and the motmot straffed it unsuccessfully, beak first (the feet on a motmot are pitiful). Rainbow colouired from head down to the tip of its tail.

A rock wren poses on a rock while looking up. The background is filled with "bokeh balls" produced by sunlight reflecting on the river. The result is a rather glamorous capture of a superstar wren.

Rock wrens aren't flashy birds, but I've found them to be extremely photogenic.
