I’m not an expert but also in a blue dist/state (LA, CA). I call sens and esp my rep regularly (often get a live person in their local office). Rep’s office says calls are important even if we agree with them. Then they know ppl care and also sharing how you and your loved ones are impacted helps.

They need to hear from us, even if we agree with them. They need to know that we care, we are paying attention, we love our country enough to fight for it - and that we require them to fight too. If you have a story to share about how you and those you love are being impacted, it gives them fuel.

If your rep is fighting against passing this cruel and duplicitous budget, please take a moment to call their office and thank them. A little inspiration and encouragement goes a long way for all of us right now!
