The Death Korps make use of whatever local vehicles are available to transport ammunition and supplies to the front lines. This local shunter was repainted black and spent many years operating in support of the 191st Assault Korps.

They’d look great like that. I was thinking Darkoath might make good berserkers from the Wolves of the Sea army list for this army. Contrast nicely with the more heavily dressed warriors, like the Pictish scout from the Conan the Barbarian movie.

Absolutely! Warhammer Fantasy was my game before AoS, but the lack of new rank and file miniatures in the range was keeping me from taking the plunge into Old World. The quality of these Marauders changed that. The lore is inspiring too. I’ve never had a Chaos Undivided army before.

A large grass wargaming board, set out with roads, scattered trees, forests, and buildings. Blocks of troops are laid out ready for a game of Old World.

Two regiments of Dwarf Warriors face off against a War Wagon and a detachment of Militia (the Dwarves won, breaking the War Wagon and managing to chase it down).

A regiment of Empire handgunners, and a view over their shoulders to the Dwarf Hammerers charging towards them. Despite repeated volleys, they managed to close the distance and get into close combat.

A swirling melee, with the Greatswords in combat with the Hammerers as the Dwarves shatter the Empire line and win the battle decisively.

Had a great game of Old World yesterday, my Hochland army took on the Dwarves. My long rifles picked off the battle standard bearer, but I just couldn't break past their artillery into the flanks, and the tough infantry managed to batter their way to my gunline, sending my army fleeing.

Just seen another established tournament will be moving into a gaming store for next year.
