I'll have to power it up again and transfer all the stuff that I ripped from CDs decades ago to a new generation HD based portable music player since a lot of that stuff also isn't available on bandcamp. I have a friend with a set up like that and he swears by it. What's old is new again.

Ever since my iPod finally bought the ghost about 5 years ago, I've been solely streaming bandcamp purchases. Every once in a while I'll go down the youtube rabbit hole and listen to stuff that isn't available on bandcamp. I have an old iMac that still has iTunes on it with a full hard drive.

I've never been to a Cracker Barrel before, but I'm glad to see them embracing DEI and hopefully JAB too. I don't believe there are in California, so if I travel, I'll have to check them out.

My son is 18 now and several of his peers growing up are trans, fortunately their parents were all supportive and understanding. It makes a huge difference to be supported to be one's authentic self. I'm glad your friends daughter had a supportive adult in you.
