one of the stranger phenomena in American life is that hate is supposed to flow in one direction (rural people get to hate urban people, Republicans get to hate Democrats) and if the hate goes the other way people pretend as if this is very upsetting.

They did a "will this hurt a candidate we don't like" analysis and were unprepared for the backlash they got

The thread is pure deflection and evasion. Healy is really trying to claim that there's no problem with how they gave the Nazi pseudonymous cover because readers could just Google the pseudonym themselves to find out he's a Nazi—he calls this giving readers "context" and "a way to learn more."

It's bad enough to publish the hit piece but this whole dishonest "who, me? We were just trying to enlighten readers about his fascinating background!" shit is so dishonest and insulting to our intelligence.

Zohran's field operation has been the most inspiring op I've ever been part of. As someone who's volunteered in over 60 campaigns, I don't say that lightly.

It was inspiring because we changed my own neighborhood, Jamaica, and because the Bangladeshi youth made it happen. I am *so* proud of them.
