Imagine accidentally building a viable competitor to Twitter that found a userbase through grassroots efforts and word of mouth and without the headstart that Meta had with Threads and being namedropped in opeds and articles and still thinking anyone cares about the tech it's built on

One of the best rookies performances in that situation I’ve ever seen from Schlittler

Your Hegseth Insult About Mouth-Breathing
I saw a meme on BlueSky where you are quoted calling Pete Hegseth a "mouth-
breathing dipshit." Seriously? That's the best you can do? I would have thought that anyone teaching at Princeton would have a better vocabulary, be more creative, and have more intelligence than to use "mouth-breathing" as an insult. That is an ignorant attempt at an insult that has been around for far too long and it needs to stop being used.
To begin with, singers, brass and woodwind players breathe through their mouths most of the time because it is most efficient, takes in more breath more quickly, and is part of our technique.
In addition many people with sinus and allergy issues often have to breathe through their mouths.
Equating mouth breathing with lower intelligence is just flat out stupid and beneath someone of your stature. I guarantee that most professional musicians like myself are probably smarter than most people and we don't use ignorant insults that are inaccurate and stupid! We use more accurate insults. Sometimes we get more creative, but in Hegseth's case, he's not

"the menswear guy isn't fair and balanced." do you even hear yourself?

"fork lady is eroding public confidence."

"ladder baby is undermining the credibility of the field."

"lemon raccoon is acting without transparency or accountability."

that's what you sound like.

Kamala Harris could have easily avoided a lot of the negativity around her by simply softening her stance on Palestine, but she actively chose not to and stood firmly behind everything Biden did in public. She should be reminded that she brought nothing new to the table.

Bungling a case against someone openly murdering a CEO in Donald Trump’s United States of America is the biblical level of blundering they tell stories about millennia later.

realistically if we see american hegemonic decline in the next couple of years, i don't think china becomes the next hegemon, i think you just end up with a likely more dangerous multipolar world, just out of the fact that the global commons requires a lot out of its hegemon (see Kindleberger)
