Aldous Huxley wrote to George Orwell to congratulate him on Nineteen Eighty-Four and argued the future would look more like Brave New World, with consent engineered by pleasure and habit more than fear. He was right. Orwell was, too.

Energy drinks are awful for young people. The extreme levels of sugar and caffeine have seen them banned in some countries, especially when youth are targeted.

At my physio office, they have slippers of various sizes in a basket at the door. Once worn, you throw them in the ‘dirty’ bin.

I think I’m of the age to start offering this to my guests. Warm feet, covered & clean 🤗. Everybody wins.
