I have a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and have spent many years developing digital designs - primarily for implementing error-correcting codes such as Reed-Solomon codes. https://sites.google.com/view/ecc-design-center/

Dear Trump Supporters, Will you do me a favor and ask ChatGPT how many times Donald Trump has lied in the last decade? You can ask other AI software the same question. AI is unbiased. Thank you. #Trump

Following the saying, "Do not put all your eggs in one basket", I had the idea in 1982 of creating failure-tolerant storage devices using multiple baskets as described here sites.google.com/view/ecc-des.... For more than 42 years, no storage company will agree to develop such a product. Why?

Is there any possible way of using any social networking site to find an individual or company that would have an interest in developing a failure-tolerant storage device using the technology described in the following site?

My emphasis is on developing failure-tolerant storage devices such as the one illustrated on the first page of this site

Both Viterbi and Turbo codes are for serial channels, and I do not believe it is practical to use them to create failure tolerance. Short answer

The image is a sketch of an idea for a failure-tolerant Network Attached Storage Device. Multiple USB Sticks can fail with no loss of data or performance. If one or more USB Sticks fail, they can easily be removed and replaced with no loss of data or performance.

I'm new to BlueSky and don't know how to use it completely yet. Sorry if this is repeated. Thought I'd let you know I had a relationship with Elwyn Berlekamp many years ago regarding error-correcting codes.

I'm new to BlueSky. I am trying to find someone who might have an interest in developing a failure-tolerant memory system using error-correction circuitry I have licensed to NASA and a number of other space companies.
