Exactly! I grew up around a lot of people like this, and regardless of the fact that they were all dumber than sacks of dog shit, not only did they know every slur imaginable they were more than happy to explain what each one meant.

I totally get that. For me, when I’m “super femme” it makes me feel more empowered for lack of a better term. Don’t get me wrong, I love it & it’s definitely how I express my gender, but some days (especially at work) it does kinda feel like I’m putting on a show.

That’s one of my favorite things about being a woman that’s trans & a lesbian. I consider it part of my daily self-care 😹

I definitely remember Saturday Nightmares shaping my cinematic tastes as a pre-teen/teen. Classics like Spookies, Toxic Zombies, & (I think) Flesh Eating Mothers come to mind. I loved the Hitchhiker & Ray Bradbury Theater, too.
