I've had a pair of Skellerup for over two years, and still going strong. In my experience, that's decent for heavy usage boots. They are quite heavy, but tough. Muckboots are awful, in my experience. If you get a year out of them, you'll be doing well.

The best bird I've ever seen. Saw one in Brazil and I remarked at the time that it looks like a giant kingfisher. Extraordinary creature!

Interesting to see the habitat here, Alan. I think a lot go unnoticed because folk concentrate on clearfell. The ones I've seen in Scotland are using regen, with a lot of trees covering the ground.
