Voting rights are preservative of every other right.

The left focused so hard on getting a large message out to such a large audience that we lost track of listening, communicating, and accepting differences on the individual level. The right went to the individual level in the meanwhile and upended realities that the left can’t even play catch up.

I feel the cons outweigh the pros. Many of the mainline Protestant congregations who could do this already have congregations with large swaths of Republicans, and many are insistent on keeping that nonpartisan stance as to keep them in pews. I’d like to hear more of the pros and cons here though.

Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.

All I can say is we tried.

Why do people in Washington state deserve Medicaid & SNAP cuts, but others don't?
