A comedic television scene featuring the iconic Canadian duo Bob and Doug McKenzie, played by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, from the sketch β€œGreat White North” on the early 1980s show SCTV (Second City Television). The two men are sitting in front of a colourful map of Canada, with the words β€œGREAT WHITE NORTH” prominently displayed in bold red letters.

Bob (left, played by Rick Moranis) wears a red plaid flannel shirt under a parka with a fur-lined hood, and a trapper hat with the flaps up. Doug (right, played by Dave Thomas) wears a blue plaid shirt under a black jacket, with a toque (winter hat) featuring a pom-pom and large earmuffs. Both characters have relaxed, slightly dopey expressions, playing up their exaggerated Canadian accents and beer-loving personas.

In front of them is a cluttered table filled with Canadian-themed props: multiple brown beer bottles, a German-style beer stein, a Mountie figurine bust, mugs, snacks, and a cast iron frying pan. A pair of traditional snowshoes leans against the background.

The scene is brightly lit and saturated with warm colours, reflecting both humour and national pride. This image is a beloved piece of Canadian pop culture, parodying rural Canadian stereotypes with affectionate humour.

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

The Detroit set is absolutely marvellous! Who knew that recording an orchestra in an old porno theatre could achieve these results!
