In 2025, accessibility in healthcare still falls short. No lift for the CT table, some tests couldn’t be completed, and it made me realize how much work still needs to be done.

A couple of weeks ago, I had stomach and back pain near my kidney area and went to the hospital. I’m better now—thankfully!

I have my service dog with me. I kept thinking—what if someone hurts her? What if they assault my dog just for existing with me in a grocery store?
