I know, right? I think as it's a repair request they have to send someone to look in order to close the open ticket. Milton Keynes/Bletchley council are pretty good at updating requests. I reported fly tipping and it got cleaned up within 2 days.

Current update: Thanks for letting us know about an issue on the highway. We've carried out an investigation and made an assessment, and this does not currently meet our criteria for a repair, so we'll not be taking any immediate action. We carry out regular inspections across the network and if this issue gets worse we will pick it up in this process. We may also consider adding certain repairs like this to our larger programmes of work, so you may see an improvement in the future even though we are not taking any specific action right now. I'm no plant expert, but I do love to admire a roadside plant who thrives on neglect. I love to see a variation pop upof a fairly common wildflower, but today I saw pink and now I know these flowers names. Thanks rabbit hole!

• I just dropped my 3yo at Nursery and one of our favourite nursery practitioners is leaving. The 4 previous people our kid was close with also left. There's only a handful of actual employees left. This industry hemorrhages people because it'd fucking hard and the gov doesn't prioritise our kids.
