Hahahahah the way you describe the progress bar is poetry. That's exactly how it feels. It's not even a progress bar most of the time it's an empty one with a timer on top of it that counts ahead to something unknowable!!! It's truly cursed!

I gotta admit I don't quite know what you're talking about, will this get rid of unity's progress bar problem?

I used to be a huge fan of unity and then it was just a decade(has it been that long? Probably) of horrible decisions?
