It’s been a dark time in the United States. But it is inspiring to see so many scientists and advocates #StandUpForScience across the country. I’m super proud of my student Charu for making this great graphic for SC’s rally and of our lab members for taking a stand.

I was supposed to be in a study section reviewing NIH grants today, which was postponed due to the senseless attacks on US science. Instead, I am using my personal time off standing up for science in DC. #standupforscience2025
