This is a common mistake. A lot of people donβt read the disclaimer:
βAs a library, NLM provides access to scientific literature. Inclusion in an NLM database does not imply endorsement of, or agreement with, the contents by NLM or the National Institutes of Health.β
Itβs not the NIHβthe disclaimer at the top of the page should have been your first clue. Itβs a single-author βcritical reviewβ (i.e. opinion piece) in a journal recently delisted by Web of Science, meaning itβs probably a garbage journal that will publish anything so long as you pay.

05.06.2025 04:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There are decent, good people making great art, doing great science, playing or singing their souls out, who aren't famous because they weren't willing to put a knife in a back as needed.
Find those people and celebrate. Let the "deeply flawed geniuses" fade into obscurity where they belong. fin/3
This is why there are many "top people" in these fields who are miserable humans. They didn't get there by being better at the job, but because they didn't care who they clawed over to get there. THIS DOESN'T MAKE THEIR WORK SUPERIOR. The myth of the "bad boy genius" is toxic bullcrap. 2/3
