Procedural Content Generation, basically its a system that allow you to place objects in a level using math. Here I'm using information from the landscape surface to control where to place rocks and trees etc.

I find it much easier to visually understand your data, when you have a full grid of aligned points and copy data to density. Here I have added a gradient from optimal distance from spline multiplied some noise, copied density to scale and then at the end added back random offset and rotation. #pcg

I like to work with a full gride of aligned points right up to the end of of my graph when i add back in some random offsets and rotation. I use a copy attribute node to copy the attribute I'm working with (mostly landscape layer info or normals) to the density.
