Point is, unless Disney thinks it will get a guaranteed profit from the theatrical release alone then there is little to any chance they'll make it. KK said it, Ben Solo script is good, but that's not what Disney cares about.

Again, look what they are putting out there right now. Mando/Grogu is as safe as it comes with a sure bet director, followed by a movie helmed by a billion dollar making director and the most sure thing actor on the planet. Also, where are you getting that casting from? Real source?

I think you’re under the impression that the Disney Corporation gives a damn about a small segment of the general public. They’re not interested in putting out movies for just a portion of the fandom, no matter how good a script is, they want simple safe and profitable.

My message to the newly named Disney hierarchy.

If we thought Disney was playing it safe before, now the chief bean counter is in charge. We'll be lucky to get one SW movie every ten years and Ahsoka will be the last D+ series.

It was the first time I’d been in the theater seeing it since 1977. Back then we didn’t do the whining little boy sound about Tosche Station. This time the entire theater did it as one. Funniest thing I’d seen in years. One of my favorite fandom moments.

It was fun, the crowd was having a great time and enjoyed the changes as fun.
