Perhaps the distinction is that not everyone who knew JE is a pedophile, but if they continued to associate with him after 2008 they do have bad judgment, questionable morals, and priorities (business, political, social) that do not align with the public interest. We must hold ourselves to the fundamental truth that sovereign nations are sovereign. We must respect and maintain rules-based order. Anything else will lead to chaos and another world war. Congress must act and act swiftly.

"It was the best attack on sovereignty..." is the punchline that will be used at Trump's trial at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.
