Halfway through the year, I’ve read 43 books of my 72 book goal for the year. Planned to read more non-fiction and classics, but have been reading anything that interests me. I’ll continue to do so until contract negotiations are finished and I have a little more leftover brain power.

I’m with you. We have no use for a dishwasher. Never used it when we lived in a place with one and have never missed it otherwise. Much prefer washing dishes by hand.

Houston’s majority government using their funding power to strong arm municipalities into obedience - the same as they are doing with universities in the province.

As the environmental crisis worsens and climate-fuelled wildfires rage across the country, Tim Houston and other provincial and federal leaders are eager to trade away our future for short-term economic gain.
