Not just lying, but blatant, obvious, bald face, ridiculous lying. Itโ€™s incredible. Enough to drive people crazy.

Donโ€™t dare run any power equipment in this tinderbox weโ€™re living in, so itโ€™s a good day to sit outside with a book and keep an eye on the chicks.

Nova Scotia is in serious need of some rain right now. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever seen the brook on our property this dry.

David Suzuki on Carney, climate, and pipeline 'madness' - Transcript | CBC Radio Front Burner Transcript for July 17, 2025

There's a point in this episode when David Suzuki says, "I just take the science seriously," and I want this written on my headstone.

I'm very tired of federal & provincial decisions based on money vibes. Can we please get some research-backed policies about *gestures wildly at everything*

Sitting on the back deck listening to Randy Newman (Sail Away (1972), keeping an eye on the ducks and chickens, hanging with the pooch, drinking a cold beer, and reading @tkingfisher.com โ€˜s A House with Good Bones. Despite the hellscape that is our world right now, itโ€™s a good day.

I mean, did we ever officially declare war?

Two: Declare war? Who's got time to declare war when there are so many bombs to drop?

"Housing now mirrors that earlier asymmetry: corporate landlords command capital, legal expertise and mobility, while tenants have none of that power. Extending labour-style protections to tenant unions would simply apply a proven regulatory formula to rental housing."
