Trump’s not a Republican either. Adherence to broad party platforms is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is if he can convince enough people in NH, SC, and Iowa that he’s the “sensible” alternative who’ll only keep the “good” Trump stuff then he’s off to the races.

The more someone tells me they’re tough, the weaker they really are. I’ll always remember the most dangerous well trained fighter at my high school was also one of the nicest kids.

Maybe I’m super cynical, but I’ve got a feeling Paul thinks there’s a path to the White House for him in 28 by setting himself up as what passes for a “reasonable” republican with some distance from the MAGA cult that’s gonna eat itself alive when Trump goes away.

Field of Dreams is a movie that even the manliest of mans mans can shed a few tears. When he asks his Dad to have a catch at the end… Niagara Falls.

Not sure of it’s Dad movie status, but I do think it’s on the short list of practically perfect movies. It could be watched at any time with any audience (buddies, grandma, or a date). Aside from the game he plays at the beginning almost nothing dates it. Almost the whole movie is quotable. 11/10

Definitely a Dad movie. But also my wife’s favorite movie. She had a big crush on Bogie as a kid and legit cried when she learned he was dead and so they could never be together. Glad she settled for :)

The Hunt for Red October. On VHS with the red cassette tape.

That was the first movie my family watched on video tape. We rented the movie and the VCR to watch it.

In my professional opinion, I think “delusional” is more accurate for this. He certainly displays traits common in people considered to be psychopaths at other times.

The fact that I first saw this and wasn’t immediately sure which genocide he was referencing probably says a lot about the current time.

It really is a never ending battle of “Are they really this dumb, or just pretending to be dumb?”

The easiest way to demonstrate you are intentionally lying, or have zero clue what you’re talking about, is to claim that Star Trek has just now gotten political.

I don’t think “We gave too much time to people who know what they’re talking about” is a bad thing.

It’s a small thing, and maybe it says something negative about me, but I take a little bit of comfort from knowing he’s a miserable person.

I love that on the main card there were no shock returns. It felt like a show of confidence going into the new year. “We’ve got our guys”

The only thing he could say to make me tune in live is “I hereby resign the presidency effective immediately.” Anything else is rambling nonsense and lies.

That said, I sincerely appreciate the sacrifice of reporters who listen to his drivel and transcribe it so I don’t have to hear him. Thank you

In years to come when I teach intro to Psychopathology he will be the prime example for Narcissistic PD. I can only hope that he’s as physically unwell as he is psychologically.

Absolutely love that show. It was amazing how JK could convey badass and sad sack in the same scene just through his performance.

Turns out he can be denied after all. What was the point of that? If they just wanted to showcase Oba to a broad audience, do a multi man match. Gets eyes on multiple stars without having to start with a garbage finish.
