Hey, been a while. Busy.

But got so sick of the "Scam Likely" calls on my phone (all Medicare scammers, they don't know I'm not old enough) that I kept a guy on the line for 7 minutes before getting him to write down my name as "Heywood Djibloeme".

He hung up after I pronounced it.

That must be why I see neatly emptied snail shells in the neighborhood. I wondered what kind of bird could remove them without cracking the shell.

A small, thin snake on a sidewalk. It is dusty grown with darker brown stripes, dark eyes, dark tongue, and white around the mouth.

Same snake as before with a human hand for scale. If you aren't familiar with the person whose hand it is, it's not all that useful as a scale, but the snake is probably about 10 inches long and as thick as a child's pinky finger.
